BYOG is an online gifting business offering curated gift boxes and individual gift products through our Shopify-powered website.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Products

We do our best to display our products as accurately as possible.

Please note that:

  • Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.
  • Handmade, natural and artisan products may vary slightly in colour, texture, scent or appearance.
  • Product packaging, ribbon colours or decorative elements may occasionally be substituted with an item of equal or greater quality where stock availability requires.

These variations do not constitute product defects.

5. Gift Orders

BYOG specialises in gifts.

By placing a gift order, you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to provide the recipient's name, address and contact number.
  • The delivery information supplied is correct.
  • Any gift message submitted by you will be printed exactly as entered.

BYOG is not responsible for spelling, grammar or punctuation errors contained within customer-supplied gift messages.

6. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.

We reserve the right to:

  • decline or cancel an order;
  • limit quantities purchased;
  • cancel orders suspected of fraud;
  • cancel orders where pricing or stock errors have occurred.

If payment has already been received for an order that cannot be fulfilled, a full refund will be issued.

7. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change without notice.

Payment must be received in full before an order is packed and dispatched.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

BYOG is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • courier companies;
  • severe weather;
  • strikes;
  • customs;
  • public holidays;
  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

If a parcel is returned because of:

  • an incorrect address;
  • refusal of delivery;
  • repeated failed delivery attempts; 
  • any customer-related reason;

Additional courier charges will apply before the parcel is resent.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders cancelled after payment has been processed but before dispatch may be subject to a 10% cancellation and handling fee.

Once an order has been dispatched or collected by the courier, it cannot be cancelled except where required by law or where the order qualifies under our Returns & Refunds Policy.

11. Product Quality

Every BYOG order is individually packed and photographed before dispatch as part of our quality control process.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery together with photographs so we can investigate the matter.

12. Food and Personal Care Products

Food products should be stored and consumed according to any instructions provided.

For hygiene and food safety reasons, food products, soaps, shower steamers, bath products and other personal care items etc. cannot be returned unless they are damaged, defective or supplied incorrectly.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including our logo, branding, photographs, graphics, text, product descriptions and website design, remains the property of BYOG unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without our prior written permission.

14. Reviews and Feedback

If you submit a review, photograph or other feedback to BYOG, you grant us permission to display, reproduce or use that content for marketing, promotional or customer service purposes.

We reserve the right to remove any review that is false, offensive, misleading or unlawful.

We are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of those websites.

16. Shopify Platform

Our online store is hosted by Shopify.

While Shopify provides the platform that powers our website, all purchases are made directly from BYOG.

Shopify is not responsible for the products sold by BYOG or for any disputes relating to your purchase.
