To help ensure the safe enjoyment of your gift, please read the guidance below before using any products contained within your gift box.

General Safety

  • Inspect all products before use. Do not use products that appear damaged, broken or defective.
  • Please retain original product packaging where applicable, as it contains important manufacturer instructions, ingredient information and warnings.
  • Some products contain small parts and may present a choking hazard. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
  • Decorative items and plush companions are not intended to be used as toys for infants.
  • Keep packaging materials, ribbons and plastic bags away from young children.

Candle Safety

Our range includes decorative and scented candles.

For your safety:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep candles away from children, pets, curtains and other flammable materials.
  • Always burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Do not move candles while burning or while the wax is still hot.
  • Allow candle holders to cool completely before handling.
  • Keep burning candles away from drafts.

Food & Allergen Information

Some gift boxes may contain food and beverage products.

  • Please read all ingredient and allergen information provided on the original product packaging before consumption.
  • BYOG cannot guarantee that products are free from allergens.
  • Store food products according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Do not consume products after their expiry date.

Skincare, Bath & Fragrance Products

This includes soaps, bath salts, shower steamers, body care products and fragrances.

  • For external use only.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
  • If irritation persists, seek medical advice.
  • Keep products out of reach of children.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Fragrances and perfumes are flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames.

Glass Products

  • Handle glass items with care.
  • Do not use chipped, cracked or damaged glassware.
  • Avoid sudden temperature changes unless stated otherwise by the manufacturer.
  • Hand-washing is recommended over placing in dishwashers.

Knives, Tools & Sharp Items

Some gift boxes may include knives, bottle openers or grill accessories.

  • Handle with care.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Use only for their intended purpose.
  • Store safely after use.

Electrical & LED Products

Some gift boxes may contain LED lights or battery-operated accessories.

  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Keep batteries away from children.
  • Do not use damaged electrical products.
  • Remove batteries if products will not be used for extended periods, where applicable.

Wooden Products

Wood is a natural material and may vary slightly in colour and grain.

To prolong the life of wooden products:

  • Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
  • Do not soak in water.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight.
  • Do not place near excessive heat.

Textile Products

This includes socks, blankets and similar fabric items.

  • Follow the care instructions provided on the product label where applicable.
  • Wash before first use where appropriate.
